Hay muchas web´s de fotografía de gran extensión, muy grandes, allí se habla de todo y se aprende de todo, se hacen fotografías de todo tipo y disciplina, se habla de fotografía en general.
Esta es algo más selectiva, aquí solo pretendemos hablar y aprender sobre la fotografía callejera y preferentemente sobre cómo y por que las hacemos con cámaras Leica.
Cualquier cámara es apta para ello, pero luego entramos ya en matizaciones muy particulares, el tamaño, el sonido, la discreción, la calidad de los equipos, la portabilidad y la ocultación, y cómo no también el mito y la adoración por la firma.
Yo he hecho fotografía callejera y a veces la hago, con una canon, con muchos modelos desde la 1Ds MKIII con un 24-70 f2,8 hasta, ahora mismo, con una canon 5D MKIII y un 17-40 f4, y quizás debido a ello puedo opinar sobre algunos de los aspectos que he destacado a este nivel.
Desde luego a mi no me gusta tener que entrar con un f2.8 en una Iglesia oscura para realizar unas tomas y tener que colocar el ISO a tope para poder hacerlas, lo siento no es lo mío, yo prefiero poder dispara a f1 con un TriX 400 y jugar de otra manera con la luz existente.
También utilizo luz añadida artificial a veces, me gusta el efecto conseguido, para ello voy con un disparador a distancia y un buen flash ahora el 600 de canon.
Como se puede ver no soy talibán, tengo mis opciones abiertas y me gusta experimentar, al fin y a la postre es de lo que se trata.

Al crear este sitio pretendo centrar la atención en esta dura y complicada disciplina en sí misma que es la foto callejera y sus muy diversas ramificaciones, solo fotografía callejera, para lo demás hay otros lugares mejores y más apropiados.

Parece lógico por tanto pensar que subir fotos a las galerías o a los post no sea algo que debamos considerar trivial ni poco selectivo, o hacerlo para llenar nuestro espacio, debemos ser muy selectivos con nosotros mismos y elegir con cuidado nuestro trabajo. Particularmente pienso que hacer una buena fotografía al mes es ya harto difícil, aunque claro, tal vez existan genios que lo hagan cada día, yo al menos no soy uno de ellos.

He colgado unas fotos en la galería para llenar espacio de momento, pero hay que hacerlo con mucho cuidado, no pretendo que este sitio se convierta en algo lleno de cosas sin mucho sentido ni arte.
Cada uno tenemos nuestra propia vara de medir, pero para afinar esa vara tal vez debamos mirar primero muchas fotografías de otros, de los genios de verdad, y definir nuestro estilo, nuestro estilo personal, el que nos defina a nosotros unitariamente como artistas o como un intento de ello.

Tal vez la pretensión sea muy grande y muy estricta pero creo que si queremos tener un lugar especial que no sea otro lugar más de los muchos que ya hay debemos ser estrictos con nosotros mismos, y aquí podemos tener la oportunidad de hacer algo distinto y divertido a la vez, algo original en sí mismo.

La calidad no implica cantidad y viceversa, seamos selectivos y hagamos una web y un foro que se desmarque del resto, un lugar que tal vez luego pueda ser referente para otros que necesiten mirar buenos trabajos, al menos intentémoslo.

Debo añadir que a mi me gusta trabajar mucho con película, solo con TriX400, me gusta la tranquilidad que se consigue pensando lo que se hace antes que llevar una ametralladora en las manos y llegar a casa con 200 tomas todas iguales para luego perder mi tiempo en ir tirándolas a la papelera una tras otra.

I posted some pictures in the gallery space of time to fill, but it must be done very carefully, do not mean that this site into something full of things without much meaning or art.
We each have our own yardstick, but to refine that rod maybe we should look first photographs of many others, the real geniuses, and define our style, our personal style, which we define to us as artists or as unitarily one such attempt.

Perhaps the claim is very large and very strict but I think if we want to have a special place than elsewhere over the many already there must be strict with ourselves, and here we have the opportunity to do something different and fun at once, something original in itself.

Quality does not mean quantity and vice versa, we are selective and do a website and a forum that is clear from the rest, a place that may then could be reference for others who need to look good jobs, at least try it.

I should add that I like to work a lot with film, only with TriX400, I like the peace of mind you get thinking about what you do before you carry a gun in their hands and get home with 200 shots all the same and then waste my time throwing them in the trash go after another.
